The Gallery at Thoreau is pleased to exhibit Wetlands, a series of acrylic paintings by artist Claudia Chapline. Layered in color washes, these abstract interpretations of the fragile and continually changing coastal atmosphere surrounding the Bolinas Lagoon pay homage to the beauty of the delicate and endangered coastal landscape of Northern California.
Located within the Thoreau Center for Sustainability, The Gallery at Thoreau provides exhibition space for artists and organizations dedicated to expressing the Center's values of social, economic, and environmental sustainability through art.
